JODHPUR, RAJASTHAN — In a significant boost to Rajasthan’s urban infrastructure, the Joint Venture (JV) of ISC Projects and GPT Infraprojects has officially received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the construction of a high-tech 4-lane elevated road in the heart of Jodhpur City.
The project, valued at ₹669.19 Crores, was awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). This development marks a pivotal step in decongesting one of Rajasthan’s most historic and busiest urban centers.

Strategic Impact on Jodhpur’s Mobility
The 7.6 km stretch from Mahamandir to Akhaliya Chouraha is a critical artery for the city. Currently, this route handles heavy traffic from three major national highways (NH-62, NH-25, and NH-125).
By elevating the main carriageway, the project will:
- Reduce Travel Time: Commuters are expected to save approximately 20 minutes during peak hours.
- Ease Congestion: The structure will bypass 8 major and 20 minor surface-level junctions, including Paota Circle and Jalori Gate.
- Enhance Safety: By separating local city traffic from heavy highway transit, the risk of accidents in densely populated areas will significantly decrease.
What is the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM)?
