Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Summary
Nippon Koei India is looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to support project execution activities for industrial infrastructure projects. The role involves on-site coordination, execution control, quality and safety management, and effective supervision of site teams and contractors, with strong exposure to PEB-based industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute civil works at site in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Supervise and lead a team of site engineers and contractors to achieve daily and weekly construction targets.
- Manage construction activities related to industrial structures, PEB buildings, and external development works.
- Prepare day-wise and week-wise construction programmes based on the master schedule and monitor progress.
- Ensure adherence to quality, cost, safety, and timeline requirements at site.
- Coordinate with multiple vendors and contractors to ensure smooth execution and minimize rework.
- Monitor material usage, control costs, and support cost optimization initiatives at site.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Report site progress, issues, and risks to the Project Manager on a regular basis.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in project execution.
- At least 5–6 years of experience in construction of industrial structures, including PEB and external development works.
- Experience in solar manufacturing industry projects will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in supervising site teams and managing multiple vendors.
