Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the technical lifecycle of marine assets through the following duties:
- Engineering Leadership: Lead the concept, basic, and detailed design of barges, ensuring structural integrity and stability.
- Compliance & Reviews: Drive design reviews, modifications, and retrofits while strictly adhering to class and statutory requirements.
- Asset Management: Support maintenance planning, conduct failure analysis, and optimize the lifecycle of various marine assets.
- Shipyard Coordination: Oversee repair strategies, manage equipment replacements, and coordinate shipyard maintenance activities.
Candidate Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: Must be a qualified Naval Architect.
- Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on experience specifically within marine, shipyard, and ship repair environments.
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in barge design, marine equipment, and hydraulic systems.
