Key Responsibilities & Skills
The role demands a deep understanding of structural engineering and proficiency in modern design software. Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Structural Design: Designing bridges, flyovers, ROBs (Road Over Bridges), and viaducts in accordance with IRC and IS codes.
- Modeling & Analysis: Using industry-standard software such as STAAD.Pro, MIDAS Civil, and CSI SAP2000.
- Technical Detailing: Handling structural design for both RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) and PSC (Pre-stressed Concrete) bridges, covering both superstructure and substructure components.
- Drafting: Preparing detailed 2D drawings, General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), and reinforcement detailing using AutoCAD.
- Collaboration: Drafting structural drawings for retaining walls, culverts, and buildings while incorporating feedback from engineers and clients.
